When greeting a bishop, it is appropriate to address him as "Your Excellency" and to bow slightly as a sign of respect. When greeting an auxiliary bishop, the same level of respect should be shown, addressing him as "Your Excellency" and bowing slightly. A bishop typically wears a long, flowing robe called a cassock, often in the color purple to signify their office. Over the cassock, they may wear a short cape called a mozzetta, also in purple, and a sash called a fascia. On their head, bishops wear a pointed hat called a mitre, and they may also carry a staff called a crosier as a symbol of their pastoral authority. **

Whether or not to complain to the bishop depends on the nature of the issue and the potential impact it may have. If the issue involves serious misconduct or abuse within the church, it may be important to bring it to the attention of the bishop in order to ensure that appropriate action is taken to address the situation. However, if the issue is more minor or can be resolved through other means, it may be more appropriate to address it at a lower level within the church hierarchy. Ultimately, the decision to complain to the bishop should be based on the specific circumstances and the potential consequences of doing so. **

Once chosen, the priest is ordained as a bishop by the diocesan bishop or another bishop with the authority to perform the ordination. The auxiliary bishop assists the diocesan bishop in his duties and responsibilities, serving as a representative of the bishop in various pastoral and administrative tasks. **

Confirmation is typically performed by a bishop in the Catholic Church, as the sacrament is seen as the completion of the initiation process into the Church. However, in certain circumstances, a priest may be granted the faculty to perform the sacrament of confirmation by the bishop. This is usually done in cases where a bishop is not available, such as in remote areas or in times of emergency. In these cases, the priest acts as an extension of the bishop's authority to administer the sacrament. **
